There are currently over 90 employees on site at PTRC. Some are contracted through outside companies and some work directly for New Mexico Tech.
PTRC's workforce is diverse. Just as in most towns, there are personnel in maintenance, mechanics, housing, food services, resource management, accounting, childcare, purchasing, technology, security, landscaping, consulting, publicity, and construction. Education and experience vary, but every employee is important to PTRC's work.
Shifts are either 7:30-3:30 or 8:00-5:00, depending on the position. When exercises are occurring, many employees work different hours and/or overtime. Many positions offer 24 hour support for customers and our schedules are dictated by their schedules.
