Security & Privacy

Web site security and privacy are not really the same thing. A privacy breach means that someone who doesn't need to know your information gains access to it. A security breach is failure to prevent corruption of data, block unknown or unauthorized access to our systems and information, and provide reasonable protection of private information in our possession. We strive to protect both security and privacy.

Confidentially Yours!

Your privacy and personal information is very important to PTRC. You will find a link to this page on all pages of our website and highlighted on any pages that require personal information. This policy explains our online personal information practices.

On any pages where some personal information is required (for example signing up for training at PTRC, contacting PTRC, or placing an order), the user will only be required to provide the information we need to fulfill that request. PTRC uses any personal information it collects in the following ways:

  • To contact the user when additional contact is necessary to fulfill the needs of the user.
  • For reports required by state and federal agencies regarding training or government contracts.
  • To help develop business and professional relationships with our clients both governmnet and private.

PTRC does not use any personal information for marketing purposes either for our own marketing or for those of third party sources.

A cookie is a small bit of data stored by a user's browser to help a web site recognize that user's unique computer. You can set your browser to remove or block cookies.

PTRC'ss website sometimes links to outside websites created and maintained by public and private entities. When you leave the PTRC site to explore another site, a new Internet browser window should open. This will alleviate confusion about what is an outside link. PTRC has no control over linked sites nor can it be held responsible for material found on any non-PTRC website. A link to another website does not constitute an endorsement of the content, viewpoint, accuracy, opinions, policies, products, services or accessibility of the site.

PTRC reserves the right to change or update this policy at any time for any reason including changes in our internal policies or new laws or regulation. Any revisions will be posted in this policy as soon as they are in effect. This policy is not intended, nor does it create any contractual agreement, or any other legal rights in or on behalf of PTRC.

A secure online experience...expected and delivered!
